EAGLES OF DEATH METAL To Perform On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'
October 25, 2008EAGLES OF DEATH METAL — which features frontman Jesse Hughes alongside QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE mainman Josh Homme — will perform on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday, November 3. While two songs will be broadcast on air, the band will play a free mini-concert on Kimmel's outdoor stage located right in the heart of Hollywood, California.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" airs at 12:05 a.m. ET and PT/11:05 p.m. CT.
"Wannabe in L.A.", the new video from EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, can be viewed below. The song comes off the group's third album, "Heart On", due out on October 28 through Downtown Music. The CD includes guest appearances from Homme's wife and DISTILLERS frontwoman Brody Dalle, and Kat Von D, the tattoo artist on the "L.A. Ink" television series and Nikki Sixx's girlfriend.
EAGLES OF DEATH METAL's "Peace, Love, Death Metal" debut came out in 2004 and was followed by 2006's "Death By Sexy". Homme is not part of the band's touring lineup, which includes Hughes alongside guitarist Dave Catching, bassist/singer Brian O'Connor and drummer Joey Castillo.
